From Mr. H. R. Thornton the Museum secured a complete suit of armor made in imitation of that of Japan from plate of walrus ivory.

A collection of ethnological objects from the Montagne Indians of Labrador was presented by Mr. Henry G. Grant.

Liet. G. B. Harber, U. S. Navy presented a costly and beautiful series of fur clothing from the Yakut of N. Siberia; additional value is given to this collection by the fact that there costumes were worn by Liet Harber and members of his party during the Jennette Expedition.
