I take pleasure in sending you my report for January, 1892. 

Owing to the absence of Miss Latham and the detail of my entire force for Chicago work, the Curator has found it difficult to keep up the correspondence of his office and to provide work for the Chicago force. No scientific work has been attempted. You will find below a detailed account of my force - 

[[underlined]] Mr. Hough [[/underlined]] - Entering, card cataloguing and poisoning accessions, most of them for the Worlds Fair and some of them not belonging to my department.
