Catalogue numbers 153358 to 153522 have been filled making 164 entries of 264 specimens. The number of accessions is 9 of which 7 were donated and 2 deposited.

Two collections of special value and size have been given to this department during January, one from the Yukon River Alaska by Mr. I. C. Russell secured during the U. S. Boundary Survey of last year, the other the gift of Henry Bryant who successfully carried out the exploration of the great falls of Labrador.
