Dear Sir,

You will be interested, I trust in the enclosed announcement of one of the first auction sales of the season at the American Art Galleries, on the afternoon of October 20" & 21st.

At that time, the Association will dispose of my private collection of Spanish and English furniture and embellishments, which I have collected on my various trips to Europe during the last five years. The collection represents some of the rarest specimens of ancient chests, 16" and 17" century furniture, and wrought iron, and the result of painstaking search and
