Mr. Clyde H. Burroughs
Secretary,
Detroit Institute of Art
Detroit, Mich.

Dear Sir,-

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 27th, requesting us to ship to your museum the thirty cases containing the boiserie. As you had this boiserie covered by insurance, we presume that you have notified your insurance company to have it covered during transit until delivered to you. The cases will leave our galleries within the next few days, and we trust that they will safely reach you.

We are doing our best to obtain a rate as low as possible from the railroad company.

Believe us,

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO. INC.
