TO THE MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS OF THE FIFTH AVENUE ASSOCIATION, INC:

SUBJECT: Request to Display Flags for Veterans
[[underlined]] of Allied Countries.- Friday and Saturday [[/underlined]]

The forty distinguished soldiers representing the Veterans Organization of seven allied countries, for whom you displayed your flags a few weeks ago, are returning from the Inter-Allied Veterans' Convention and American Legion Convention which was held at New Orleans. They will be entertained in New York tomorrow, Friday, as well as Saturday before sailing for home.

The Entertainment Committee of the American Legion has requested us to ask you to display the American Flag or the American Colors on these days, together with the flags of England, France, Belgium, Italy, Roumania, Servia, and Czecho Slovakia, if you have them.

This request has just come to us, otherwise we would have given you a longer advance notice.

Very truly yours,
