[[underlined]] Subject: DISPLAY YOUR FLAGS ON ARMISTICE DAY - NOVEMBER 11TH. [[/underlined]]

Next Friday, November 11th, will be Armistice Day. The American Legion will hold a meeting at Madison Square Garden with appropriate ceremonies in honor of the burial of the Unknown American Hero which will take place at Arlington Cemetery, Washington, D. C., and to commemorate the third anniversary of our victory in the Great War.

^[[>]] We have been invited to cooperate in making this day one to be remembered by asking our members to display the American Flag at half-staff, and, if you are in the possession of any or all of the Allied Flags, to likewise display them with the American Flag on that day.

Knowing your willingness to cooperate, we are pleased to transmit this request to you.

Very truly yours
