Mrs.S. H. Frank,
Little John Place
Gedney Farms
White Plains, N.Y.

Dear Madam,-

We beg to acknowledge receipt of a check for Frs. 1700,-- which the Central Union Trust of New York, Plaza Branch, has delivered to us at your request, this being payment of the balance due on purchase of four arm-chairs from Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Fils, Paris.

We have advised Mr. Frank by telephone that these chairs arrived to-day, and according to his request, we are forwarding them packed in the case in which they came by express pre-paid to the above address.

We are transmitting the check just received to Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Fils, requesting them to send you a receipted invoice, provided with the French revenue stamp. In the meantime this letter will serve as a receipt.

We thank you for your remittance and trust that the chairs will safely reach you.

Very truly yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO. INC.
