In reference to the delivery of the carved stone mantel-piece and door and window frame imported from France for Mr. Mackay, we beg to enclose herewith copy of the letter which we are writing to-day to the Long Island Railroad Company, which confirms the substance of our conversation with you over the telephone this morning.

Under separate cover, we are forwarding to you to-day two copies of each of the photographs of the mantel-piece and the door and window frames.
