Gentelmen,
I have been instructed with the sale of a small collection of antiques, the various pieces of which are at present in Toronto.
The prices put upon them are such as to make them of more than ordinary interest to New York buyers. If you are interested, and will make an appointment, I shall be most pleased to arrange for Miss Falconer of this office, who has the matter in hand to call upon you with photographs.
I have also an original miniature of Louis XVI, on ivory and enamelled. It has been pronounced, I am informed, by several experts to be a most interesting piece.
The owner is anxious to realize upon it and will sell for $200. I believe it to be worth a very great deal more.
Faithfully yours,
Arthur W. Hughes
