Mr. Albert A. Lewis,
c/o Lewis & Valentine,
Roslyn, L.I.

My dear Mr. Lewis:-
Our friend Mr. Gréber is having all kinds of trouble regarding his departure from the other side. He was to sail on the Espagne and the day before the boat was to go he was notified that she was withdrawn for an indefinite time. As the travelling is a very heavy one just now he was evidently unable to get accomodations until the 19th. I hope that nothing will again interfere with his departure and that he will arrive in New York before the end of this month.
Regarding the Frick matter, I beg to say that I have arranged it in such a manner that as soon as Mr. Gréber arrives he will be introduced in the right manner to Sir Charles Allom and with all the support which will make it possible for him to get either the Frick job or others in which Allom has something to say.
