Dear Sir:-

Mrs. E.F. Luckenbach begs to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of May 28th and in reply thereto requests me to write and say that, as I think you are aware, she is at present in a delicate state of health and expects to go into the Hospital almost any hour.

She wishes, however, to confirm her order for the Fountain, and will pay for same in Francs, so soon as ever she leaves the Hospital, at the price stated in your letter.

She expects to be home, at the latest, in from two to three weeks.

She also desires me to say that, she would like you to keep the Fountain at our Galleries, until such time as it is convenient for her to remove same

Yours very truly
V. Leslie [[Gholus?]]
Secretary to Mrs. E.F. Luckenback
