Knoedler & Co. 556 Fifth Avenue, New York Dear Sir,- I beg to thank you for your letter of the 11th inst. which just reached this office, addressed to Mr. Jacques Seligmann, in reference to the consideration of the new tariff by the Legislative bodies. Mr. Jacques Seligmann as well as Mr. Germain Seligmann are at present in Europe and are not expected to return to New York before next Fall. I am forwarding your letter to Mr. Jacques Seligmann by the next sail. Very truly yours, Private Sec'y.
