[[Three columns of text]] Education The Soul City complex will provide a full range of educational programs. Such programs and new facilities to be located in Soul city will be planned in cooperation with the Warren County Board of Education and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. At present, there are five elementary schools, two high schools and two junior high schools in Warren County. An environment will be created in which education, both formal and informal, becomes an integral part of each resident's life. Educational opportunities are [[end of first column of text]] made available through technical, vocational and adult education courses. Job training facilities, to the greatest extent possible. Advanced teaching methods, plans for multiple use of sharing of community owned facilities with other community organizations, will be employed to achieve excellent in the design of an educational system. Health Imperative to the development and growth of any new community is the emphasis placed upon health facilities. HealthCo, Inc. was formed to provide the highest quality of care to the residents of Soul City and the surrounding counties of Vance and Warren. With quality the objective, the emphasis of HealthCo is not on crisis care, but more importantly on the continuing maintenance of its citizen's health. to assure this goal, the HealthCo staff provides, under a prepaid system, health education, disease prevention, medical and dental care. All of which are coordinated to the needs of patients and their families. Healthco was founded to provide the highest quality of effective and efficient care, with dignity and equal access to all.
