Gentlemen:

Confirming arrangements made with Mr. Seligmann, we are hereby deducting the credit due us of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.-) as arranged on the tapestry that we purchased some time ago.

As this credit is of long standing, there is no necessity of having a note out for it and we are therefore deducting it as arranged with Mr. Seligmann from the first bill that is due.
