Mr. Max Pam,
Congress Hotel,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Mr. Pam,-

Let me first send you my very best wishes for a happy New Year.

I thought that I might have the pleasure of seeing you here during the holidays, but according to the very remarkable Christmas card you sent me and for which I am most thankful to you, I see that you are still in Chicago.

I am leaving New York on Saturday night and expect to arrive in Chicago on Sunday January 2nd. Of course I will call you up right away and expect to have the pleasure of seeing you. My stay in Chicago will be of two days.

Hoping to see you soon, pray believe me,

Very sincerely yours,
