Mr. Max Pam
2001 Empire Building
New York City

Dear Mr. Pam,-

I am just about to sail and to leave this country, but before doing so, I consider it an agreeable duty to thank you for both the letters of introduction to Mr. W.T. Carrington and Mr. Martin Ryerson you were kind enough to give me.

I certainly do appreciate what you have been doing for me and the most charming and cordial receptions you gave me in Chicago and in New York.

As I told you already, don't hesitate to ask me, whenever you know about your sailing for France, to reserve accommodation for you.

Looking forward with much pleasure to seeing you in Paris, pray believe me,

Sincerely yours,
