Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Company, Inc.,
705 Fifth avenue,
New York City.

Dear Sirs:

Acknowledging receipt of your favor of the 24th inst., in reference to the insurance on the tapestry belonging to you which we are holding here, I beg to say that I have communicated with the person who is considering the purchase of the tapestry, and am requested to advise you to have the insurance renewed, so that an extension of time can be obtained to decide the matter. I hope this will be agreeable to you, as there seems to be a probability that the tapestry will be purchased.

I take pleasure in sending you, under separate cover, two more copies of the catalogue of the tapestry exhibition, and a copy of the catalogue of a tile exhibition, which may be of interest to you.

Very truly yours,
