Dear Sirs: -

Referring to your letter of April 20th, this Company has no interest in the Library shipped to you by Messrs. Robt. Schuhmann & Co. of Paris except on behalf of a client, who advises that payment will be made as soon as the books are properly checked up. For that purpose Mr. Carl H. Pforzheimer or Dr. Rosenbach, or both, will arrnage with you to call at your Gallery and check up the Library in accordance with the De Ricci List.

We trust that you will give them every facility for this purpose.

Yours very truly,
