My dear Mr. Glaenzer:

Referring to the tapestry fire screen which you shipped from New York on Friday last, March 16th. I beg to advise you that the same arrived at my house at Elkins Park only this noon and was in a very damaged condition, the frame being broken in several places. I am shipping the screen back to you today by American Express.

Regretting very much this accident and the needless trouble which you have, therefore, had and looking forward to seeing you on Saturday April 7th., I remain,
