Mr. H. Wilhelson,
Plaza Hotel,
New York City.

Sir:-

I am a member of the firm of Jacques Seligmann & Co,. Inc., of Paris and New York, and it may interest you to know that both that firm and I have here a number of paintings of the highest merit and well worth seeing. Amongst them an important A. Cuyp, two portraits of Antonio Moro, and a Flemish Primitive of a quality and importance which exists in no private collection either in this country or in Europe. Also other paintings of the highest grade.

I am obliged to go out of town this very day and will be back this coming Sunday. I shall take the liberty of calling on you either Sunday morning or after luncheon to ascertain whether it is your desire to see the paintings above mentioned.

My writing you in advance you will thus know the purpose of my call, and my name will not be unknown to you when I send up my card.

Yours very truly,
