CAMPUS TOURS TO NEGRO 1

 Guests on the tour of Negro Colleges in Atlanta, Georgia, and Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, the weekend of November 21, saw several novel innovations in education during their inspections of Negro educational facilities.
 Private planes took the visitors from various cities to Atlanta where they spent the greater portion of the day visiting six institutions in the Atlanta University system.

  PITTSBURGH GROUP
 Richard k. Mellon, Chairman of the Board, Mellon National Bank and Trust Company, and a member of the Mobilizing Board of the National Mobilization program, was host to a group from the Pittsburgh area. Included in Mr. Mellon's party were A. W. Robertson, Chairman of the Finance Committee and Former Chairman of the Board, Westinghouse Electric Corporation; A. V. Murray, President, The Scaife Company; and B. Homer Hall, Director, The Sarah Mellon Scaife Foundation.

  AKRON VISITORS
 Harvey S. Firestone, Jr., Akron, Chairman of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, also a member of the Fund's Mobilizing Board, was accompanied by his brother, Raymond C. Firestone, Vice President of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.

  CHICAGO GROUP
 Visitors from Chicago, headed by Robert E. Wilson, Chairman, Standard Oil Company (Indiana) and a member of the Mobilizing Board, included Harold H. Swift, Chairman, Swift and Company; John Stuart, Chairman, Quaker Oats Company; E. H. Volwiler, President, Abbott Laboratories; and Charles Bryan, Jr., President, Pullman Standard Car Company.
