[[underline]] J. R. Nissley, Mansfield, Ohio.-[[/underline]] The stone with hunting scenes engraved on it mentioned in the preceding report. A cast was taken at the National Museum during this month.

[[underline]]L. Belding, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.-[[/underline]] 4 spear-heads, 1 trimmed flake, and 1 hammer-stone from the neighborhood of La Paz ^Lower California.

[[underline]]F. A. Lewis, Ripon, Jefferson County, West Virginia.-[[/underline]] 1 natural formation from Jefferson County, West Virginia.

[[underline]]A. M. Hawes, M. D., Detroit, Michigan.-[[/underline]] 1 Indian saddle, taken from the Indians during the Custer massacre; 1 U. S. Army saddle taken by Indians on that occasion, and retaken about two weeks afterward.
