numbers, to be sent to the Army Medical Museum, was delivered to Mr. F. W. True, December 29th, 1884.

The chipped series of North American stone implements, etc., designed for the New Orleans Exhibition, was finally arranged in 16 trays, and the same delivered to Mr. Stewart, who shipped them on the 10th of Dec., 1884.  The series of ground objects - mostly represented by casts - will soon be ready for delivery.  Mr. Hendley is still at work making casts.

During this month I was again much occupied with my forthcoming work.  The last plate-proofs are being furnished to be in lots of 40 pages, which I examine and return as speedily as possible.  The text is correct, but the position of the illustrations has to be altered in many cases, owning to the careless cutting of the blocks on the part of the Photoengraving Company.
