HENRY ALFONSO HASKELL, A.B., "DUTCH"
Augusta, Ga.
Alpha Phi Alpha

We are all fond of this calm, steady gentleman from Dixie. He started at Haines Institute in Augusta, and finally left Lincoln with an "A.B." While there he was a member of the Beta Kappa Chi science club and was instructor in analytical chemistry his junior and senior years. Since coming among us he has begun to suffer from paranoid delusions of grandeur regarding his ability at pinocle, but the prognosis is good. "Dutch" wants to do G. U. work and will practice in Pennsylvania after he has spent a year at Mercy Hospital.

As excitable as a cod-fish.

CLARENCE WALKER HOGANS, A.B.,
"SHAG"
Paterson, N.J.
Alpha Phi Alpha
Captain Kidd seems quite a childish amateur compared with this buccaneer of the Pennsylvania. Between gold-seeking forages he has passed the time away at Paterson High, Lincoln and Columbia, in special work in chemistry at the latter, and indulged in varsity football and basketball. His accounts of his exploits have given him life membership in the Ananias Club, whose rooms are in the Turfsman's Union. As a fitting climax to his adventurous career it was our honor to crown him King of All Carpetbaggers, henceforth to be known as Little Burbank, before he settles down to the peaceful practice of pediatrics in the town of Paterson.

A rough diamnod, yea, very.

HERMAN HAROLD HOLT, "STUFF"
Crewe, Va.
Phi Beta Sigma
This modest youth is quickly and quietly getting where he is going with little ado. Hackensack, N.J., gave him his grammar and high school work and the "Hill" shot him to us. After he finishes his interneship at Harlem Hospital, look him up as a gynecologist in Columbus, Ohio.

From Hell, Hull and Halifax.
Oh, good Lord, deliver I.

MAURICE WALKER HOWARD, A.B.,
"MONK"
Jersey City, N.J.
Alpha Phi Alpha
"Monk" is an avowed turfsman, whatever that amounts to, and a chap with what the literary folk call color. Comely to the eye, with a wistful expression and a dash of melancholy which many a maid would remove if she but could. All this is in keeping with signs of early brilliance in Latin and a 3 1/2 year college course at Lincoln. Then he has been a football hero on a championship team. Always a dreamer. "Monk's" wagon is welded to the Emersonian star and mayhap we may someday find him in his chosen field of neurology and psychiatry a distinguished worker at Strasbourg in France. May Freedmen's and the home town give him a good start.

Handsome Harry, Harlem bound.
