wonders throughout our great city. Other classes have seen hoe much we learn from our excursions and they are beginning to take trips. Some of the more interesting and cultural experiences we have had were at the Botanical Gardens, the Union Station, the Lumber Mill in Silver Spring, the Washington Flour Mill, the White House, the National Gallery of Art, the Public Library and the Smithsonian Institution. We plan to go to the Franciscan Monastery in Brookland, the Monument, the Capitol, the Commerce Department and the Supreme Court.
We learn many things from our many trips and several times people have called our Principal to speak highly of our decorum in going to and coming from these places. We are happy when we have such unusual opportunities and when we are spoken of in such a nice way.
