Ober, Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts [[/underline]]._Collection from the Island of Nevis: Three pestles, 4 rubbing-stones, an implement of unknown use, a polishing stone, a fragment of a jadeite celt, a small natural formation drilled for suspension, and 2 celt-gouges of shell; 13 specimens.

A.F. Berlin, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. [[/underline]] _ Five rude implements, 4 cutters, 5 arrow-heads, and a notched sinker, all probably from Pennsylvania, although no letter concerning the specimens has been received in this Department; 15 specimens.

Dr. L.B. Welch, Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio. [[/underline]] _ A cast of a carved stone tablet, and one of a ceremonial weapon with incised figures (the so-called "Butterfly"). The originals were found in a mound near Wilming-
