A clergyman at a dinner had listened to a talkative young man who had much to say on Darwin and his theory of evolution.
"I can't see," he argued, "that it would make any difference to me if my grandfather was an ape."
"No," commented the clergyman, "I can't see that it would. But it would problably make a great deal of difference to your grandmother."
