The PIERPONT MORGAN LIBRARY
33 East Thirty-Sixth Street
NEW YORK

October 27, 1922

Dear Mr Seligmann

I have just learnt that my reply to your letter of July 9th was, through stupid error, not sent to you.

In regard to reproductions of art objects in this library for your forthcoming book, that is a matter for which permission can only be given by Mr. Pierpont Morgan himself. He will be here sometime in December when I will lay the matter before him and let you have his decision.

Probably you will be in New York yourself by that time and can see him personally.

With my kindest regards to Mrs. Seligmann and yourself,

Yours sincerely,

(s) Belle da Costa Green
