My dear Mr. Macy,

     I am very much obliged for your kind letter of the 9th. Feb. and I shall certainly avail myself of your invitation and, useless to say, with great pleasure, to see you again after so many years. I hope to meet you and Mrs. MACY in good health, but I will not come to the States before November or December.
     I give this letter to my son, Captain Germain SELIGMANN, who goes to the States in about a fortnight. I beg of him to pay you a visit so that, when he comes
