"After I picked up Joe, we ran out of gas, I had to walk two miles to station, then two miles back.
"When we got to the course, we had a long wait to get started. We finally got started and the first two holes went fine. But on the third tee, Joe had a heart attack. I ran back to the clubhouse to get a doctor, but there wasn't any doctor there. 
"When I got back to Joe, he had died. And for the next sixteen holes it was just hit the ball and drag Joe, Hit the ball and drag Joe."
