This is chiefly on E side. (N. side)

[[underline]] Cut 19 [[/underline]] is a great cut on old ^[[RR.]] line.  It is nearly all overgrown, but shows that most of it is drift, & there is only a thin band of loess on S. side.  This will be opened.

[[underline]] Cut 20 [[/underline]] is new cut just after RR again leaves old line.

[[2nd layer]] Yellow loess (fossils) 6-7 ft.
[[3rd layer]] Drift 12 ft or more.
This is a big cut just W. of road.
