It is rather soft, but of the older type with bluish streaks & mottling, & has some nodules (medium or small) (see samples) & shells are scattered through, especially in lower 5 ft. The Kansan is light blue & yellow & has [[insertion]] ^ rather [[/insertion]] small boulders & pebbles, some [[small?]], some black.
