At turn, in N. line of [[overwritten]] 29 [[/overwritten]] 32-81-37 there is a bank, on N. & W. side of road, which shows 8 ft of yellow loess.
It is rather soft, but of the older type with bluish streaks & mottling, & has some nodules (medium or small) (see samples) & shells are scattered through, especially in lower 5 ft.  See shells & samples.
Reading at base this cut = 1345
At base of long slope west on bottom -

This shows drift distinctly at base.
The Kansan is light blue & yellow & has [[insertion]] ^ rather [[/insertion]] small boulders & pebbles, some [[small?]], some black.
