Transcription Notes:
First pass at species names - most I'm completely unsure of - so many so I haven't bothered to put them in [[?]] They'll need checking via eol.org etc -@siobhanleachman
Checked plant names through search engine and eol.org. Solved a couple of species mysteries! :) Couple notes: Fraxnis may be Fraxinus; Ribes Granite is not a species name, but Granite is one of the common ways to reference Ribes plant. Ampelopsis is a plant, but I can't be sure that's what he wrote, so I put it in [[?]]. Euonymus alatus is also known as Burning Bush - I think he may have written it with an 'i' though, so kept it. Carya Glabra is Pignut (which is what I think he wrote under it) but, I don't see 'glabra' in that word after Carya. If we were able to decipher the common name "Claylaw?", it could help with figuring out the mystery species name below it! :) Looks like in very last entry he reversed the order and the insertion is scientific name, and original entry is common name. (Sorry for all the notes!) - GigglePop!

Did my best to verify against eol.org & https://plants.usda.gov/java/
Still a few question marks, Good Luck! --kbailey
