The song of the Chewink came incessantly from across.  As many as 3 sang at once.
The Indigo Bunting has a more varied song than at home. I saw the flight song several times. I did not know it at first.

Saw a Robin today for the first time near camp. Some white breasted Nuthatches courting in a pine.

The river has gone down and a Sandbar goes from in front the camp to the whirlpool. Saw two Spotted Sandpipers. They were very wild. The sand was covered with
