of Robins on the point. Found where a mink had eaten one. It had eaten it all but the upper mandible. Feathers were strewed all over.
Saw a Phoebe.
Then I went home.

This afternoon I went down in the fields. Saw two Myrtle Warblers. In Maines woods were a number of Song and White-throated Sparrows. They were bathing in the slough.
Saw a yellow-bellied Woodpecker getting grubs out of an elm
