went up on the hill and got that goldfinches nest outside: shreds of bark, apple leaves, weed clusters, strips of weeds, corn silk, wool, spider webs, fine grass, grape vine bark. Lined with: thistle, down, horse hair, pine needles. Saw some Blue jays carrying off acorns. There are a number of them here. 13 Bluebirds flew over in a flock. Thier notes sounded directly above me
