Suddenly the Chicadee flew towards me. The Hawk had come up from the ground and lit on a fence post about 30 feet away. I stood quiet looking at it through my glass. It saw me after a little and flew up and circled over me. It flew along the ridge of the hill and I followed. I did not see again. Then went home. ______________ December 16 Sunday This morning when I went up after the meal there were 6 Evening Grosbeaks in a tree by the Stienbrinks. They were feeding on box elder seeds.
