It would draw its neck in and then stretch it out in the effort. They came within 4 feet of us. The Chicadees fearlessly went into the cracks and went in and out between our feet. This afternoon I went over below Sprouls again. Saw two white-breasted Nuthatches talking fight to each other. They ran up and down the tree and called excitedly to each other.
