Frederick J. Flagg, Esq.,
420 The Valentine, Toledo

Dear Sir:-

In the absence of Mr. Charles L. Freer, your letter of the 13th instant, addressed to him, was opened by me in his absence.

Mr. Freer sailed from New York on November 15th, last, for a trip through the Orient, and does not expect to return home before late in June. I shall be writing him, however, in a day or two, and will take pleasure in inclosing therein, your letter.

Very truly yours,
