after yours was forwarded, and which is also received, brought a newspaper clipping stating that Judge Mandell decided that Hendrie & Newberry had the right to intervene. 
This I can see increases my chances as well as theirs.
Now, may I ask you to further follow your own good judgement in this matter, in the event of any question arising. 
I am enclosing herewith a reply to Mr Leyster's letter which please read before forwarding to him.

Poor Plumb! What a terrible experience he is passing through.  I hope that he will entirely recover.  For one of his activity, the checking up to follow the amputation, will be a fierce struggle.

I am glad that Anna finds things comfortable in Colorado and hope that the change will prove very beneficial to both her and little Louise.  [[end penciled box for deleted copy]]
