The specimens are necessarily all casts, the originals not being obtainable.  The British Museum has lately purchased the collection [[strikethrough]] of a [[/strikethrough]] made by Monsieur Piccadean d l'Isle of Toulouse, for which the latter gentleman asking my presence the sum of $8.000.
