There are many things which I intend to do for the development of my Department.

1. The completion of the rearrangement plan, adapting it to the geographic.
2. Re-establishment of the Synoptical cases.
3. Receipt of additional aboriginal pottery, from the secret shelves of Pueblo hall in the Museum, and its display on the upper (level) shelves in alcove cases.
4. Arrangement of Etruscan prehistoric collections with completion of catalogues and labels. 
5. Increase of labels for general collections.
6. Establishment of [[underline]] caches [[/underline]] in models.
7. Adaptation of the large model-cases in the foyer of the hall, to the style of the other cases - stained walnut, &c.
8. Preparation of large map of Mounds in the United States (Have been waiting for the necessary lantern-slide).

These are in addition to the receipt, entry, marking and distribution of the current specimens. For the purpose of caring for these, it is, in the highest degree, desirable that the bases to the floor- and table-cases should be equipped with drawers according to the plans and requisitions which were sent in some time ago. 

When the heaters and shelves have been taken out of the windows, the window-jambs are to be occupied by upright cases with narrow shelves and glass doors, similar to the windows at St. Germain Museum and to the wall-cases for display of small vases of the Cesnola Collection in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central
