IV. Present Condition of the Collections.

[[underlined]] Exhibition series [[/underlined]] -

The [[strikethrough]] ex [[/strikethrough]] mounted specimens sent to New Orleans not having returned the exhibition-series remains as on Jan. 1, except that 44 freshly-mounted specimens have been added.

[[underlined]] Reserve and duplicate series [[/underlined]] -

The totals on Jan. 1. 1885 were as follows:

Skins and alcoholics 4870
Skeletons and skulls 4087

The number of specimens added between Jan. 1. 1885 and July 1. 1885 is as follows:

Including the exhibition-series, the number of specimens now in the collection is as follows:
