States.  It was obtained, together with two others, a female and a young individual, through Mr. John Gundlach, and was captured in the Sierra Maestra Mountains, Cuba.  Mr. C.B. Cory presented about fifty six specimens of the rare bat known as [[underlined]] Natalus micropus [[/underlined]].
They were obtained in Old Providance Id., Yucatan

Only the type-specimen was previously known.  The authorities of the British Museum presented a specimen of the South American variety of the Hoary bat, [[underlined]] Atalapha cinerea Freyi [[/underlined]], a variety not previously in the Museum collections.

A specimen of the rare Onakari monkey, [[underlined]] Brachyurus rubicundus [[/underlined]] and three specimens of a South American deer believed to be [[underlined]] C. gymnotis [[/underlined]], were presented by the Zoological Society of Philadelphia.
