a series of skins of [[underline]] Sciurus hypopyrrhus [[/underline]] and [[underline]] S. rufoniger [[/underline]] prepared by himself.

[[underline]] Old World [[/underline]].  A number of mounted specimens of European Mammals were received from Mr. E. Hargitt, among which may be mentioned a specimen of the wild cat [[underline]] Felis catus [[/underline]] and the European Badger, [[underline]] Meles taxus [[/underline]].  In exchange for North American mammals Dr. Tycho Tullberg on the part of the Upsala Museum, sent a small collection of Swedish species.  By a similar exchange the Museum received from the Museum d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, a number of skeletons of Old World species, including the Gorilla, Bactin camel, Civet cat, Entellus monkey, &c.  Among a number of Tasmanian Mammals presented by the Fish Acclimatization Society of Ballorah, are a very fine native wolf, [[underline]] Thylacinus cynocephalus [[/underline]], and two specimens of
