We are greatly in need of American species, and especially of Marmosets.

The only remaining specimen added to the exhibition-series during the month was an Ocelot.

The following number of specimens were entered during the month: skins, 169; skulls, 150; skeletons, 2.  The majority of these specimens belong to the Department of Agriculture deposit.

The condition of the collection has not changed materially since the last report was submitted.  The larger part of the study-series of skins is inaccessible, as it has been for five months past, and we
