October 15, 1946

Dear Mr. Peck:

Pursuant to your letter of October 10, 1946 addressed to Mr. Seligman, I am enclosing herein as requested, duly signed and witnessed, certificates of nationality and of residence respectively.

I trust that these two documents will finally enable you to obtain the export license necessary for the shipment of Mr. Seligman's objects.

In this connection and to simplify matters, Mr. Seligman asks you to include with that shipment the silverware, etc., which were the subject of his letter of October 10, 1946 enclosing the "Liste de Madeleine".

While we are on this topic, Mr. Seligman also wishes to remind you that according to his records in New York he is certain that he had two legumiers in Paris instead of one as was indicated to him. Will you please take up this matter with Madeleine?

Further, will you also be good enough to indicate to him the exact contents of the silver chest made by Puiforcat (how many spoons, forks, knives, etc.)?

Sincerely yours,
(O. A. Liechti)
