15th July 1935. Another scorcher, no clouds, fierce sun, but along coast collecting practically impossible owing to very strong & cool SW breeze: "white-horses" all over Bantry Bay.
At 10.30 went up road west of Barony Bridge, Glengarriff, to boulder-clay scarp & here took a fine [[female symbol]] [[underlined]] Agenia variegata [[/underlined]] investigating (apparently) the half-finished nest of Odynerus.
