Then rode to Snave Bridge, at mouth of Coomhola River & collected at both sides of estuary, then on through Ballylickey to within 1 1/2 miles of Bantry, where turned down lane to coast after passing Reenydonagan Lough, but so windy that nothing seen but one [[underlined]] Halictus [[/underlined]] (probably [[underlined]] calceatus [[/underlined]]) [[female symbol]] & some [[underlined]] Crabro varius [[/underlined]] in lane.

Near Snave Bridge, Co. WC., saw or took 
[[underlined]] Bombus agrorum & lucorum [[/underlined]] [[2 virgin female symbols]] frequent.  
[[underlined]] B. jonellus [[/underlined]] 1 fresh [[virgin female symbol]] certainly seen on bramble.  
[[underlined]] B. lapidarius [[/underlined]], 1 [[female symbol]] by road between Snave & Bantry.  
[[underlined]] Coel[[overwritten]] y [[/overwritten]]ioxys [[Coelioxys]] [[/underlined]] sp.  1 fresh [[female symbol]] investigating rock at side of wood just west of Snave Bridge
